Divock Origi contract latest
Liverpool will continue contract talks with Divock Origi.
The Belgian international has only one year left on his existing deal and will be eligible to leave for free in June 2020.
However, the Telegraph claim Jurgen Klopp is determined to convince Origi to stay at Anfield for the foreseeable future.
Talks began after the Champions League final victory and the Reds hope they’ll find a resolution before the start of the 2019/2020 campaign.

Marco Asensio transfer
Liverpool are considering making a move for Real Madrid star Marco Asensio.
According to Spanish publication El Desmarque, Liverpool would be able to sign Marco Asensio from Los Blancos for £67million.
However, Zinedine Zidane wants Sadio Mane going in the other direction.
The report suggests that Asensio, who scored one goal and created four assists in La Liga last season, would be Klopp’s ideal choice to strengthen his squad, particularly to provide cover in case Mohamed Salah suffers an injury.

Liverpool scouting mission
Liverpool are monitoring Zenit St Petersburg’s Sardar Azmoun.
Russian outlet Soviet Sport claims that members of the Reds’ scouting department were in attendance as Azmoun’s Zenit St Petersburg faced Lokomotiv Moscow at the VTB Arena in Moscow.
Reigning champions Zenit were defeated 3-2 but Azmoun scored two goals either side of half-time.
The 24-year-old only joined the Gazprom-owned outfit back in February for a fee of around £10.5million, having neared a loan move to Wolves in January which fell through on deadline day.
Iran international Azmoun, formerly nicknamed ‘The Iranian Messi’, has long been tipped for a move to Europe with Liverpool credited with interest in the player since 2016.

Junior Firpo bid
Liverpool are still interested in signing Junior Firpo.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to add a left-back to his ranks this summer following the departure of Alberto Moreno upon the expiry of his contract.
And Real Betis star Firpo fits the bill.
Mucho Deporte claim Jurgen Klopp’s could try their luck with a £27million bid – despite Firpo’s £44.7million release clause.

Divock Origi targets
Divock Origi believes Liverpool are even more hungry for silverware after last season’s Champions League success.
Origi sealed Liverpool’s 2-0 final victory over Tottenham last month as the Reds claimed their first trophy under Jurgen Klopp.
“It always gives you the will to win more,” Origi said. “I saw Sir Kenny Dalglish after the game (in Madrid) and he said the first (trophy) is nice, but the second one is even more special.
“We will try to go for a second one and win as much as possible. We’ve made steps in our development, everyone is a year older now, we have experience of winning a cup, so I think we come back stronger and with even more hunger.”
